Hi, Nick here.
I’m super excited about this, so I’m just going to get straight into it:
For the first time ever, I’m releasing some technique focused video content, revealing how I coach a round off, flick, straight back.
(If you’re American, you might be more familiar with the name ‘round off, back handspring, back layout.)
I’ve tended to shy away from technique focused content in the past, preferring to deal with ‘bigger picture’ stuff, and there are a couple of reasons why:
So, why have I broken with tradition, and decided to put together specific content on coaching a round off, flick, straight back?
It’s simple really – it’s a really, really important acrobatic series.
You see, a lot of the gymnastic technique content that the internet is awash with doesn’t focus on the stuff that really matters, and it’s because we’re naturally magnetised towards what we want, rather than what we need.
But having travelled worldwide, working with 20 international federations and consulted in hundreds of different clubs and organisations, I’ve come to understand the areas that coaches tend to neglect and need help on.
And a round off, flick, straight back is definitely one of them – an acrobatic series where I see the same mistakes made time and time again, irrespective of the country, club or gym that I walk into.
Is it a big deal that people are coaching it wrong?
Well, yeah, pretty much.
Fail to get this sequence right, and the chances of everything else falling into place and your athletes achieving success is hugely reduced.
Put simply: without this, your athletes are never going to realise their potential.
For me, this is a big deal.
I’m dedicated towards furthering the sport of gymnastics and raising the game for coaches and athletes all over the world.
And that’s why – earlier this year – I took some time out of my busy schedule, flying to Portugal to create some video content on this exact acrobatic series.
My videographer’s been super busy chopping up the content and getting it ready for release, and I’m delighted to say that it’ll be ready in the second half of this month, when I’ll be releasing it to the wider gymnastics community.
However, I wanted to give as many people as possible the opportunity to be the first to receive it, at the keenest possible price, hence why you’re reading this page today when the content will be released on June 16th.
I’ll get to the ‘keenest possible price’ bit in a minute, but first, let me just tell you exactly what this Technical Masterclass is, what you’ll learn and why it’s worth investing in it.
When you invest in this Technical Masterclass, you’ll receive lifetime access to 45 minutes + of coaching from yours truly, showing you exactly how to coach a round off, flick, straight back.
The Masterclass includes:
And that’s not all…
In addition to lifetime access to the content, you’ll also receive:
I’ll be doing these personally, and they’ll be placed one week apart. During each call, we’ll discuss your progress, and help make sure that you’re effective implementing the series into your gym.
On the call, you’ll get multiple opportunities to get any questions answered and remove any roadblock in the way of you getting this properly applied in your gym.
Each coach who invests in this Masterclass will receive an invitation to a private Facebook group, where you’ll be able to discuss the content, rub shoulders with other coaches also trying to implement the series, and get any questions answered by me.
In short, when you invest in this Masterclass, you’re getting everything you need to properly and effectively get the round off, flick, straight back implemented in your gym.
I’ll come onto the investment for this Masterclass in a minute, but first, let me just tell you what this Masterclass ISN’T:
I’ve intentionally made this content as simple as possible. It’s so easy to overcomplicate things, but when we do this, we get in the way of implementation. This content is made to be easily digested and implemented, so you can start to see the fruit of your labour very quickly.
There aren’t a million and one different drills with no explanation. Instead, this is about you as the coach understanding the principles involved. When you can do that, you’ll be better placed to hand pick your own drills and methods.
This course is for all coaches who can already teach these elements, but need to know how to improve on them.
